Initial settings of Windows 11 (unable to pair)

Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Devices

“Bluetooth devices discovery” = “Default”

In this state, no Bluetooth MIDI device is displayed in “Add a device” and pairing is not possible.

To enable pairing

Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Devices

Change “Bluetooth devices discovery” to “Advanced”.

Bluetooth MIDI devices will be displayed in “Add a device”. Click “Adio Air GT MIDI” or “Adio Air BS MIDI” to pair. After pairing, you can return “Bluetooth devices discovery” to “Default”.

– macOS 10.15 Catalina is now supported.

– Supported OS is now 10.11 El Capitan or later.

– Removed 32bit VST/AU plugins since the modern macOS only supports 64bit.

We apologize to users of our products who have been inconvenienced by being unable to use them in a macOS Catalina environment.

1. Support for macOS Catalina

If you use the default Apple driver to connect your VOX product to your Mac, you’ll be able to use it with the exception of some Editors. This requires you to uninstall the previously-installed VOX USB-MIDI Driver. For the uninstallation method, refer to section “2” below.

Regarding editor/plug-in editor support for each product, refer to the most recent OS compatibility table.

2.Uninstalling the VOX USB-MIDI Driver

Use the following procedure to uninstall the USB-MIDI Driver.

(1) To uninstall the VOX USB-MIDI driver, download the uninstaller from here, and run it.

* Use this to uninstall the VOX USB-MIDI Driver as well.

(2) When driver uninstallation is completed, restart the computer, use a USB cable to connect the VOX product, and start the software that you use. The connected device is detected by the default Apple driver.

The VOX 2ch USB-ASIO Driver allows certain VOX Products to be used​ ​as an ASIO compatible USB audio interface. With this driver, you can​ ​play and record audio with very low latency with an ASIO compatible application.

Open ‘VOX2chAudioDriver.exe’ and follow the instructions in the installer.

Summary
– 58 versatile and usable sounds have been added

Enhanced keyboard tone variations such as Soft Grand Piano for ballads and singing, including Small Grand Pianos, Forte Piano (that is based on the original piano from 18-19th-centuries), Harpsichord, Electric Piano tone with effect settings, FM Electric Piano, Pianet, Toy Piano. Also, included due to popular demand are ensemble sounds such as Brass Ensemble, Mellotron, and some enhanced Synth Pads. In addition, Bass sounds such as Acoustic Bass, Electric Bass, and Synth Bass have been added for a split function. There are more timbre variations and the Vox Continental will be reborn for a wider audience.

– The split function has been added
– The damper effect can be enabled or disabled for each sound part
– A scene set function has been added, and the number of scenes has increased from 16 to 64
– The amount of noise that is characteristic of vintage organs can be adjusted
– The tonal character of the PIANO part can be switched using the bending lever

Requirements
– A FAT32-formatted USB storage device, such as a USB flash drive. 40MB or more free space.
– A computer with a USB port.

We are excited about macOS Catalina and iOS13 from Apple Inc. and we are currently testing all VOX products to be compliant for these OS and will confirm compliance dates for each VOX product as soon as possible. Now, some products do not work with these OS. Until we have confirmed compliance, we advise waiting until all devices and applications have been tested before updating to these OS.

* Other products may also malfunction, so please refrain from updating to these OS.

In this case, if you select “OK”, the USB audio input can be used continuously, but if you select “Don’t allow”, the USB audio input will not function. In this case, the USB audio input can be enabled by following these steps:

A: When using VOX hardware products (see following list) with a USB audio interface function 
> Activate “Microphone” with the software you are using.

1. Turn off the power for the VOX hardware product connected to your Mac and close the software used for that product.
2. Open System Preference > “Security and Privacy” and select “Privacy” > “Microphone”.
3. Please tick the appropriate box of the software you are using.

B: When using VOX software > Activate “Microphone” with the software you are using.
1. Please close the VOX software used in your Mac.
2. Open System Preference > “Security and Privacy” and select “Privacy” > “Microphone”.
